The post
Consulting engineering company is looking for its future experienced building mechanics director
What will your daily life be like?
- Management of the department as a whole:
- Manage the department’s human, material, budgetary and software resources
- Participate in the strategic development of the department
- HR/Recruitment/Performance appraisal
- Monitor and develop resource efficiency when carrying out projects
- Technical development, innovation, BIM
- Monitor department projects: Quality, Performance/efficiency, Choice and technical orientations
- Support business development, participate in the drafting of service offers
- Maintain and develop relationships with our partners in complementary disciplines
Participate in mandates as project manager:
- Carry out assessments of existing mechanical installations
- Meet customers and define the mechanical needs of a project
- Design plans and quotes for the different mechanical systems
- Make budget estimates…

The profile
The profile we are looking for:
- Have a university degree in mechanical engineering;
- Be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
- Have significant experience in a consulting engineering firm;
- Know the commercial, residential, institutional, municipal and industrial environments;
- Master the codes and standards governing building mechanics in Quebec;
- Master the Office suite software, AutoCad and Revit;
- Master the French language (oral and written); English is an asset!
- Excellent interpersonal skills and very good team spirit;
- A good spirit of analysis and synthesis and a great capacity for adaptation.
